The Twin Bridge Park is immediately across the street from the resort. The 94 acre park offers a playground, a large picnic area and very nice beach. The High Falls Flowage is also surrounded by the 9,000 acre Peshtigo River State Forest, and again the Twin Bridge Resort is right in the heart of it. Around the corner about 1.25 miles away is the entrance to the Tommy G Thompson State Park. They also offer a beach, trails, and boating and fishing. Five miles to the west is the Nicolet National forest with hundreds of thousands of acres of wilderness.
Farther north, Marinette County offers a dozen major waterfalls and hundreds of smaller ones to be discovered. There are thousands of acres of county forest land offering a wide variety of recreational opportunities including hiking, biking, hunting, fishing, bird and leaf watching, snowmobile and ATV trails, cross-country skiing and much more.
Fishermen, this is the place. High Falls Flowage and the smaller Caldron Falls Flowage to the north are class A musky water with good populations of walleye, northern, bass and panfish. There are also about 1,000 miles of prime trout streams in the county, and with all of the spring fed creeks and rivers, we have more miles of trout stream than any other county in the state.
The Nicolet National Forest is very close by with a multitude of recreational opportunities. The Iron Snowshoe Snowmobile Trail system offers about 140 miles of well groomed trails that stretch from Crivitz to the Nicolet. These trails are quite possibly the best kept snowmobiling secret in the state. There is just so much to do in this area. Come to the Twin bridge Resort and Supper Club and discover it for yourself!
With all of these attractions the Twin Bridge Resort is right in the heart of it with a really prime location.
On a larger scale, the Twin Bridge Resort is about 15 miles from the closest town, Crivitz, WI. It is 45 miles northwest of Green Bay, WI, about 3 hours from Milwaukee and 5 hours from Chicago.
The Iron Snowshoe snowmobile trails come right to the resort, bringing thousands of winter visitors. We also have direct access to local ATV Trails.
The bottom line is, the Twin Bridge Resort is perfectly located in the heart of Northern Wisconsin’s funnest area.
